| Dave & Cheryl Roberts | You both did fantastically well, we're both so impressed with you. Seeing Geoff wobble up the road from Lands End it's hard to believe that he made it without stabilizers on his bike!
You've inspired me to cycle to the pub now! |

| Chris | Well done both of you, it's really good to read a day by day account of your journey. Just starting planning for my attempt next year. Thanks again. |
| michaela | I would like everyone to know that whilst Geoff was doing the coast to coast and my family and I were stranded in Ullapool Lynne's backup truck did not stop for us. Lynne I know I sat a lot of benches on your hike it was nice to see you sat on one. I can tell that you have adapted to cycling as on the 28th of June you are munching away with your helmet on. I also would take pictures of men in uniform. One question for you on the 2nd of July who's legs are they? Being able to cycle up hills like the one on the 4th of July is awesome. I think that the sharper steeper hills of Devon and Cornwall are more painful than the long Scottish ones! I love the picture of Lynne's legs on 6th July which proves that you are both hardy cyclists. I think your achievement is amazing and had no doubts that you would both succeed. What a nice welcome home from your lovely family. I am looking forward to hearing about your next adventure. |
| derek | Great achievment, I'm inspired to do it next year. Thanks for all the info and great pics. Well done! |
| AlanM | My wife and I are planning LeJog in Aug 2010 on our tandem and your own achievement is inspiring and your diaries both amusing and a useful planning aid for our own trip. Thank you for taking the time to write it all up - 14Nov09 |
| Sira Soinak | Hi, Lynne and Geoff - what a great journey! Congrats! Enjoyed your diary!
I'm from Thailand and hope to do this journey someday - can i borrow your stove??! :)
I wondered if anyone out there want to do it as i am by myself and don't want to do it alone - is it safe? Not too much fun alone, i'm sure!
Keep well. cheers! |
